Senior C# GUI Developer

Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for the following
Developing sophisticated front-end applications
Implementing and performing rigorous testing of the software that is developed.
Understanding business requirements and writing specifications
Building applications as per the specification.
Administering & work with other teams to handle all batch processing and be able to handle job failures.
Developing C# programs.
Developing ETL modules in SSIS
Developing Excel applications.

Required Qualifications:
At least 3 years of C# front-end experience.
At least 5 years of development experience in OO
Experience in the financial industry in Fixed Income &/or Equities is a plus.
A background in architecting elegant design solutions.
Ability to clearly document and communicate objectives, requirements and designs at these different levels of abstraction.
Development background and the ability to script in Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective presentation skills
Strong educational background with BS / MS in Computer
Working knowledge of both Windows and Linux
Experience with automated testing tools
Strong knowledge of SQL. Fundamental understanding of database modeling and ETL type applications.

Visual Studio
C#
Messaging platforms such as MQ, JMS etc is a plus
Java knowledge is a plus
